Litigation Attorney - Employment/Business in Cerritos

Job Description

Are you a Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of Civil Litigation experience, specializing in Employment and Business Law? GPAC is working with a reputable firm that is seeking a driven professional with excellent research and writing skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently manage cases from intake through trial.

Responsibilities:

• Represent businesses in litigation, arbitration, and legal disputes.
• Draft complaints, conduct discovery, and appear in court.
• Provide legal counsel on company policies, structures, and contracts.
• Negotiate transactions, settlements, and mergers.
• Manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
• No hard billable hour requirement, but the target is 1600-1700 per year.

Qualifications:

• Active California State Bar membership.
• 4+ years of Civil Litigation experience (employment, PAGA, contracts).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Compensation:

• $140,000–$180,000 annually.
• Benefits: 401(k), health/dental insurance, and 2 weeks PTO.
